Pam graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1988.  She started her career with the former firm Byrne and Company Ltd.  In 1993, she earned her Certified Public Accountant license and in 1995 she started her own firm. Pamela Ristau CPA has provided tax, accounting and payroll services since the start of its operations.  Formerly, the firm also provided public and government auditing services.

Pam, originally an Eickhoff from Wykoff, Minnesota, is married to Gary Ristau.  They reside on part of the Ristau family farm in rural Preston, Minnesota where they have raised their three sons, Casey, Mitch and Cody.  Pam is also involved with various community organizations where she volunteers her accounting support and works to promote her community and Southeastern Minnesota area.
